The Offer
Check your AmEx Offers on American Express business cards for the following deal:
- Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to make a single purchase of $100 or more online at verizon.com/amexoffer by 01/19/2023
The Fine Print
- Offer valid online only for Small Business Wireless transactions at US website verizon.com/amexoffer.
- Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
- Please note if you purchase a plan, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your plan will automatically renew for another plan period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable plan fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law.
- Excludes FIOS internet plans and Enterprise and Government Services.
Our Verdict
Similar to the spend $150+, get $75 back. This has been triggered by ordinary Verizon Wireless personal payments in the past, let us know if it works this time round.

Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to open a new Verizon
Wireless Business account online at verizon.com/ amexoffer75 by 8/28/2023. See terms.
I have this one also. I’ve never seen one of these offers be posted without a specified minimum spend. (I have previously used AT&T, Verizon, and TMobile offers via Amex and Chase.) The offer link seems to imply the spend would be $75 to get $50 back.

This offer is back with slightly worse terms:
“Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to make a single purchase of $120 or more on Verizon FIOS Business Internet online at verizon.com/amexoffer50 by 8/26/2023.”
I assume I should be able to prepay my personal FIOS bill to trigger the offer?
Purchased $50 Verizon GC last month when the $75 back on $150 offer was valid, and they sent me an inactive/non-valid GC. Verizon chat CS was clueless, so I filed a $50 dispute with Amex. I hope they won’t clawback the $75 offer
Does this work for personal verizon cell phone bill?
DP: I paid my Verizon home service (made a one-time $101 payment) and received a notification that I triggered the $50 off $100 business off about 6 hours later
Last summer I had success with the $75/$150 business offer paying a personal Verizon account that contains postpaid wireless and FIOS. Charges post as VZWIRELESS MY VZ VN.
Now I have the $50/$100 offer for FIOS business, and from reading comments I can’t tell if a payment will trigger the offer. I think there’s no way for me to just pay FIOS and nothing distinguishing the 2 accounts, so the payment will post the same as before.
Does anyone have a charge with FIOS in the name?
Not sure if this is what you are asking. I only have FIOS and my charge showed up as “VERIZONCOMFIOS IRVING” and it triggered the offer.
Thanks a lot. I feel like this might not work if you have both wireless and fios. I don’t know how to get something to bill just the fios part since it’s all one account.
It looks like Verizon GC does not trigger the offer this time around. I will probably just give up the AP discount and pay the Fios bill. $50 credit is better than $10 discount. 🙂
My question is, my monthly bill is about $30 and I paid $100, I hope they remove AP for only one month 🙂
That’s usually the case with the wireless plan. I just recently started the fios plan, so I am not sure if it’s the same. Hopefully it’s just one month.
Didnt mess with any GC as folks had posted that GCs dont trigger the offer
I had a $75 off $150 offer, bought $150 in GCs, the offer first disappeared and today the $75 savings has showed up in the savings tab, not posted yet.
I had $50 of $100 offer on 3 other cards and used them same day, the offer has not disappeared. Not looking good TBH.
Seems strange works with GC but the 50 doesnt but thats what I have been reading too
Jags
$75/$150+ and $50/$100+ are different offers. The former is Verizon Business Wireless offer which works with GCs, and the latter is Verizon Business Fios offer which isn’t triggered as the GCs are sold by the wireless side.
For verizon
Avi confirmed that paying Fios bill works but paying directly with Amex most probably remove AP discount
Some other bough GC’s but still waiting to see if that triggers the offer or not.
Pasting summary for TM
BML mentioned that paying regular cell bill worked.
I just made a cell payment of $101, will update.
Btw, TM offer expires on 12/31
