Seems like you can’t combine with the 10x into offer on gas and groceries as it’s a 3rd party app you have to use and the terms of the 10x offer say that third party payment apps are not applicable… I called and spoke to an Amex rep

I like using the cellphone to activate the pump, but the Conoco app will not let you add an Amex card. Hopefully I can use the actual card.
Slight tangent. The Chevron app is hit or miss letting you use your phone but you pay the cash price even when you’re paying using the a credit card via the app.
In the last week or so the local ConocoPhillips dropped its gas like $0.30/g to match Costco. Now I get 13x and Costco prices. Not that much in the grand scheme of things, but a nice little bonus.
And imagine the time you’ll save from not having to sit in those ridiculous lines at Costco’s gas pumps.
Go before 10 am.
I was going to ask if there are ways to get the price of this brand down a bit because it’s so overpriced in my area (if you can find one). Shell has the partnership with Kroger/Ralph’s, etc., Safeway/Vons/etc. has the partnership with Chevron. Does 76 have a partnership with anyone?
I got this but I don’t have any of these gas stations anywhere near me (and Costco is still 75 cents cheaper than the cheapest gas station in my area anyway).

Normally I get gas at Costco, so I compared 76 gas prices to see if the MR offer would be profitable over just getting at Costco. Unfortunately it’s about 15% higher at 76 vs Costco, and that’s without accounting for the 4% gas from the Costco Visa. Every area and situation is different, but I hope others do the math first.
Also nice to stack with on business plat which has 5x on gas
