The Offer
No direct link, check your AmEx Offers on business cards:

The Fine Print

- Purchases such as Exxon Mobil Reward+â„¢ mobile app transactions are included if the account is linked to your enrolled Card.
- Excludes all other transactions such as, but not limited to, purchases inside convenience stores, car washes, automotive repair, aviation & marine fuel, garage services, Esso & XTO brands, stations in Guam and other international locations, and gift cards.
Our Verdict
These business offers usually are for everyone, but it’s possible not everyone will find it. I couldn’t find it initially due to having over 100 offers in my account available, but I found it in the app. (You can alternatively save some of your offers to lower yourself under 100.)
10% off gas is pretty nice, just be sure your local Exxon prices are competitive. I believe the terms on gas offers are actually enforced (?), and it’ll only work for payment at the pump, not inside the convenience store.

I’ve been looking for this offer to reappear since it came around this time last year. I specifically wanted it for my business Gold. So with the 10% back plus 4x on gas transferred to Schwab I’m at 15% back and XOM is the most popular gas station in my area.
Got this on BBP, but the closest Exxon station is 250 miles away. Wish they’d post up the same offer for QuikTrip!
I had $10 off $25 at BP/Amoco which is better than nothing.
Nothing on my Hilton Business
same
I have 15% off at chevron on my personal gold. Not seeing this offer though. Can one buy GCs with these offers, like non-gas GCs ?
Excludes purchases inside convenience stores.
Right. Just gas and, if they’re available at the pump, car washes.
Mmm, car wash.
Since when T&C is something that Doc’s readers automatically abide by ? But I guess there are no DPs of folks trying to buy GCs inside, are there ?
Yeah, this seems targeted or it hasn’t rolled out to everyone yet.
This will be perfect to use once the chase pay offer at Conoco ends on September 30.
I still have my svmgiftcards for ExxonMobil. (Issuer of various gas cards. Though they no longer sell on ebay or at their competitive prices that made them worth getting when looking for a way to hit minimum spend.) Probably should have begun requesting a check sooner on the balances below 10.00; their line (albeit only open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST) is friendly and easy enough to go through
EDIT: In San Antonio, the Exxon, _not_ Mobil, stations are fairly competitive on price. Only Sam’s Club or Murphy occasionally beating them 🙂
jeez, i’m still using the gift cards i bought last time they had this promo
Are you saying in-store purchases of gift cards worked??
Don’t see it on Delta Platinum Business (only have 70 something offers, so it’s not hiding either with 100+). Not overly useful this quarter anyways with 5X UR on the CSR and their expensive prices. I have 1 station nearby that routinely charges 80cents- $1.10 more/ gallon for regular gas than the Shell station a mile down the road. Sure enough the one somewhat competitive station around charges more for credit cards and excludes itself from the Shaw’s gas program.
