Does this have to be made in 1 transaction?

Any guess as to whether this would work with FHR bookings?

I booked a room through FHR, which placed a temporary charge of $250+ on my card. I then received the Amex email saying I used the offer.

I can confirm that FHR booking triggers the offer. The $50 credit has appeared in my account.

Has anyone had experience buying gift cards on-site at the MGM property? For instance I’ve bought Marriott gift cards at a hotel to trigger these AMEX offers previously…wondering if it’ll work the same for MGM hotels?

Terms say, “Reservations must be made directly through MGM Resorts online at mlife.com, by phone, or via mobile app.”

I wonder if this excludes booking a Virtuoso rate since it can’t be done online, phone, or app.

Do you know if this would include all charges made for my room reservation in luxor? And purchases within the resorts? Going there for a convention but room reservation bill is short the $250.

I booked bellgio and delano last month for upcoming stays in November. Flexible rates. But the hotels already charged “advance deposits”. Will they cancel the deposits and re-charge me upon checking out or will they only charge whatever amount that is in excess of the deposits? Thanks!

They will charge any amount beyond the deposit.

Is it possible to ask the hotel to run $250 upfront to trigger the bonus? I assume if you end up spending less than that then it gets refunded back to the card? Will the AO be claw back then?
