Chase Referral Bonus on Southwest, CSP, INK, Freedom; Share your Referrals Here

Chase is offering a refer-a-friend bonus on many cards now. Some of these are new offers and others have been around for some time. You can add your referrals in the comments – see rules below.

All Chase referrals can be found at chasereferafriend.com, and some people may have gotten emails about their referral offers as well. Also, there’s occasionally a banner in your Chase login with an offer to refer.

The good news is that this time all cards now have the Twitter and Facebook referral option available via the chasereferafriend site. The advantage of this is that we can generate an instant referral link and don’t have to wait a few days for Chase to send the email.

Also, note that this time I couldn’t find a clear end-date for the referral bonuses as has been the case in the past. It appears that now they are just limiting the referrals by calendar year (max 50k points in referral bonuses per calendar year per card), and there probably isn’t any end-date for how long you can earn referral bonuses.

Chase Southwest Plus/Premier

Both the Southwest Plus and the Southwest Premier are currently available with a 50,000 point signup bonus, and now is a great time to go for the Companion Pass. And both of these cards have referral bonuses with ordinary links, no need to call in. Yay!

• Refer a friend to the Southwest Plus card or the Southwest Premier personal card and get 5,000 points per approved account
• Max of 10 referrals per card (Plus and Premier can get 10 each) – 50,000 points total per calendar year

The signup bonus is the standard 50,000 points with $2,000 in spend. Annual fees ($69 or $99, respectively) NOT waived the first year.

The Southwest Premier business version is also available with the 50k bonus, and that can get you to the Companion Pass too. But that one doesn’t seem to have a referral option.

Chase INK Plus

• Refer a friend to the Chase INK Plus card and get a 10,000 point bonus after your friend is approved and uses the card
• Max of 5 referrals for a total of 50,000 points per calendar year
• Allow 6-8 weeks for points to post
• Bonus will appear on your statement as “Refer-A-Friend bonus”

The signup bonus is the standard 60,000 points after spending $5,000 within 3 months. Annual fee of $95 is NOT waived for the first year. Note that, currently, there is an in-branch offer of 70,000 points after spending $5,000, and that offer has no annual fee. If you prefer to apply online, be sure to ask subsequently ask for a match on the 70k. You’ll still be paying the $95 annual fee, but at least the bonus will be 70k, plus you helped out the person who referred you to get a 10k points bonus.

I don’t know if the INK Cash card has a referral option.

Chase Sapphire Preferred

• Refer a friend to the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and get a 10,000 bonus after your friend is approved and uses the card, worth a minimum of $100
• Max of 5 referrals for a total of 50,000 points per calendar year
• Allow 6-8 weeks for points to post
• Bonus will appear on your statement as “Refer-A-Friend bonus”

The signup bonus is the standard 50,000 points after spending $4,000 within 3 months. Annual fee of $95 is waived for the first year.

Chase Freedom

• Refer a friend to the Chase Freedom card and get a $50 (5,000 point) bonus after your friend is approved and uses the card
• Max of 10 referrals for a total of $500 (50,000 points) per calendar year
• Allow 6-8 weeks for points to post
• Bonus will appear on your statement as “Refer-A-Friend bonus”

The signup bonus for the new member is the regular $175 bonus: $150 after spending $500 within 3 months, and $25 for adding an authorized user who makes a purchase on that card.

In the past, Freedom didn’t have the Twitter/Facebook option for whatever reason, but this time it does.

I don’t know if the Freedom Unlimited card is showing up with the referral option.
