Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Free checking plus has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find the fee schedule to check for an EATF.
Our Verdict
Better than the previous $100/$125 bonus. It’s a shame it’s a hard pull but that is less of an issue for most people these days so we will add it to the best bank account bonus page.

did the savings bonus amount change? It says 15k here though now it says 25k on their website
Is this a hard pull?
Did anyone else get a decline saying they weren’t able to verify your identity?
Applied online from south Florida. Declined and told to come in to branch to verify the work/worship eligibility. Second time declined for this asking for proof.
Hard pull and decline is no fun. That and lack of DPs has kept me from going forward with the application.
Can anyone decipher the fine print on this offer? How long for it to pay out?
“Incentive payout will be posted by the 5th of the month, following the 90 days after meeting the above requirements.”
So if you met the reqs at the end of Aug, you have to wait 90 days for the payout meaning the bonus would be posted between dec 1st-5th. That’s how it seems to be to me atleast
Yeah it’s worded pretty wonky. I was thinking it could be like you’re saying or just the 5th of the month after the 90 days, so September 5th in your example. IRDK
Anyone know which credit bureau they pull from?
Has anybody tried to become eligible OOS by joining ABATE of Florida for $22?
ignore, wrong reply.
Taking advantage of this bonus now. Will report back as to how it goes.
Applied online, I don’t live in one of the qualifying counties but I do work in one (it didn’t ask to show any proof). Was instantly approved after doing some docu signs, opted out of o/d prot but looks like it was still a HP. Chex is LOL/24
Matt F That’s interesting, I’m a couple of counties away but my company does service some of the ones on the list. That might just make me eligible, maybe I’ll give it a try. Is it possible that you’d already know if they pulled your Chex? Mine is seriously like Lol/24 IDGAF/2.
We’re the docu signs instant? Or did it say a specialist will reach out to you and then the docu signs showed up? I just applied and it went pending.
The docusigns were instant, after that I got this message.
