The Offer
- Delta Community Credit Union is offering students a $100 bonus when you open a free checking account. They match deposits up to $100, must use promo code GRAD22
The Fine Print
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
They offer a free checking account with no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find any early account termination fee in their fee schedule.
Our Verdict
Very restrictive bonus, only posting as the requirements are so easy.

I’m I correct that the only restriction is the age?
first-time Delta Community members or existing members adding a first-time Checking Account.
That makes it seem if you had a prior checking you cannot get the bonus.
In the terms they layout if you currently don’t have a checking account and within the age you are eligible.
But you have to live in GA.
or is there an easy association to join?
