Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

This account has no monthly fees

Early Account Termination Fee

According to the fee schedule there is no early account termination fees

Our Verdict

Earlier in the year they offered a $100 bonus with the same requirements. Unfortunately they seem to be extremely ChexSystems sensitive so most people won’t be eligible. I’ll still be adding this to our list of the best checking bonuses.

They are ChexSystems sensitive. I was 13/24 when I applied. After submitting the application, they requested DL and utility bill. After I sent the documents, they sent me the denial email.

P2’s application also got denied. She was 9/12 so evidently you need fewer apps than 9. This is the first bank that has been this sensitive over $100 bonus for me and $200 bonus for P2.

Tried this when it was $100 a few months ago, denied! seem quite Chex Sensitive, maybe 6-8 apps in last 12 months or so

There’s an early termination fee. Their fee schedule says “Closing Fee: $25.00 (applies to all checking & savings accounts if closed within 180 days)”.

Applied last night, got denied today due to Chex. Probably about 6-8 new bank accounts in past year.

Applied early yesterday, got approval email this morning, and got debit card in the mail today. This is only my fourth account in last 12 months.

How could you get the debit card so fast? My wife applied on Wed Oct 9, got the approval email on the 10th, saying the debit card will arrive in 5-7 business days. Emprise’s HQ is in Wichita, I’m in Topeka, about 120 miles away.

I’m really not sure, but I am in Wichita so I guess that helps!
