– 2023-01-11 – Applied online for Regular Savings (for CU membership) and Classic Checking. The only checking products available on the online app were Benefits Checking, Classic Checking, and Prestige Checking, not Rate Rewards Checking nor GoGreen Checking.

– 2023-01-12 – Received an e-mail requesting a scan of identification, then a phone call to confirm account selection. The rep wasn’t sure if the $200 promo was running, confirmed with their manager that it is, and confirmed the requirements as listed above, but they need to manually assign that promo to my account. On the phone I was also able to switch the checking product to GoGreen Checking, which waives the monthly fee with e-statements rather than with debit activity or minimum balance that Classic Checking does. Signing e-form to open account, but will need to visit branch (there’s one relatively convenient to me) to finish funding.

Will follow up with results.

Anyone know if this is a hard pull? I emailed them a few weeks ago to ask but they never responded.

I was excited for a minute, first KY specific bonus I’ve seen. I’m not in any of the listed counties though, unfortunately.

Decided to try an app for a DP though, applied as “worship” at a nearby county. Only funding option listed was “mail a check/deposit in branch”, appears to be soft pull, app went to manual 2 day review.
