Our Verdict

$100 isn’t a huge bonus, but the requirements are easy to meet and no monthly fees to worry about. Unfortunately it’s a hard pull so I don’t think it’s worth doing. You can view more bank account bonuses here.As always please share your experiences with this bank/bonus in the comments below.

Hard pull, I was able to fund 2520 off CSP last year.

Vincent Did you open online ? Did it code as purchase? Could be sweet, CIU/CIC cards are 0% for 12 months and don’t effect your FICO from util.

Sweet, Player # 2 has the new CIU in transit, that’s an easy MSR meet for that card and earn 2% on the $2,500 then use the card organically for the other $500.

Was the HP EQ?
While not worth a 5/24 slot nor is carrying a bal or paying interest on a personal card ideal, they do have Visa Pt. 6.99% OAC

Opened online through a referral for $50. Coded as purchase. Equifax.

Can confirm hard pull.

They’re also not a particularly nice outfit…they illegally stole $5 from one of my accounts because it was dormant, without first informing me it would be taken as required under Oregon law.

Argued with one of their bankers for a while, but decided life is too short.

I’d steer clear, especially since its only $100

Worth doing for parking up to $15K @ 2% in a liquid Checking (shares) account while taking advantage of Chase 0% for 12 mo, on CIU / CIC cards or parking money between churn bonuses. We have two similar accounts with Advantis we use (but they are %1.85/$25k).

Wonder if we would qualify as new members had auto/cc and accts about 20 years ago when they used to be Safeway employees CU here in Potland.

William Charles also 2% up to $15k in an interest checking (12 debit trans/ rolling 30day qualifier).

2% isn’t really good anymore. I get 3.4% (almost double that) for up to 100k at Heritage Bank.

3.33% is a great rate, but it’s not 3.4% and certainly isn’t ‘almost double.’ 🙂 Also they limit to $25k, not $100k. Heritage is 0.15% over $25k. Soft pull, though.

just an update on the credit card funding – I just opened the account today, Credit Card funding is $3505 on Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. I funded with Citi AAdvantage for 3505… I’ll update when it posts, hopefully as a purchase. Can confirm it’s a hard pull + doesn’t seem to be very chex or inquiry sensitive, I’m LOL/24 on each.
