Yep. Two years ago, Wells Fargo “lost” $10,000 of my money. They couldn’t seem to recognize CIT as a bank despite multiple verifications. They “froze” my ability to transfer money, but not until after the $10K had already left my account. It never showed up at CIT.
For weeks, they gave me the runaround. The branch manager was a disgrace, taking no ownership to help me. But so was their national customer service center. No matter which supervisor I talked to, they claimed the other bank must have my money and that I had to contact the other bank.
Lo and behold, finally after wasting many hours of my time on this, a Wells Fargo employee acknowledged that Wells Fargo did in fact have my money. Nonetheless, they wrote me several letters claiming no responsibility and offering nothing. As a result, as soon as I received the signup bonuses for my new accounts, I stopped patronizing Wells Fargo.
Over the past few years, I have done a lot of comparison shopping of the banks. Wells Fargo is one of the three worst. Run far far away.
Fxxk Wells Fargo.
They just can’t resist doing things behind people’s back.
Why are you acting surprised ? The massive layoffs are just starting, the travel industry, various service and school jobs, oil and gas, banks, even some cushy government gigs will not be spared. Do you seriously expect AA to somehow keep paying for jobs they do not need ? Oh, and your beloved Southwest is also planning layoffs.
Chill dawg its all going to be ok
AA: We’re partnering with jetBlue!
Also AA: We’re firing a third of our staff…
*”AA sending 25,000 furlough notices as passengers choose to fly with other airlines”. I’ve switched to exclusively flying Southwest because I know I can trust their change/cancellation policy and that they will handle COVID19 appropriately. THAT is the benefit of being a quality carrier when times are good — when shit hits the fan, customers trust you.
“THAT is the benefit of being a quality carrier when times are good — when shit hits the fan, customers trust you.”
Yup.
Now it’s time to make the change in Nov. Go with the one you can trust, not the one that lies constantly.
But, but… mah freedumbs 😢
What are the odds that 2 random internet people with the names credit and debit would find themselves on the same thread almost exactly 10 min apart… same person? lol
No, debit’s alter ego is debut, which is not pronounced ‘day-buuh’ but instead ‘de-butt’
