- MoviePass Users Are Watching Less Than 1 Movie a Month, So MoviePass is Winning by Danny Deal Guru. I guess it’s pretty easy to have low usage stats like that when you’re signing people up without their consent. In all seriousness that shouldn’t be affecting numbers yet, but the fact that the app was showing error messages like crazy probably lowered usage as well. I wonder what their customer retention rates have been recently.

Awesome info about the interest free active military loan- thanks for the info!
Let me preface my comment by saying that I appreciate the sacrifices that our uniformed service members make everyday to defend my freedoms and my country. However, I do take issue with the website’s characterization of the 0% loan as a “SCRA” benefit. It isn’t. SCRA protects service members from civil action and grants certain benefits for debts incurred BEFORE active duty, with the intent that active duty service should not adversely impact a person’s financial wellbeing. These loans as advocated for on the website clearly do not qualify. The waiving of interest and even acceptance of SCRA benefits applications by AmEx for these loans is clearly a gesture of goodwill on AmEx’s part and I think more credit and recognition should be given to AmEx for their generosity.
Thanks for these recaps. I read nearly every one and have discovered some nice morsels.
Thanks for the kind words =)
