- Amex Cards No Longer an Option for Serve Backup Funding by Danny Deal Guru. You could still earn points on third party issued American Express cards, although I suspect most readers are banned.
- Uber Reportedly Close To Buying Competitor Careem by PYMNTS. Interesting they are still in acquiring mode so close to an IPO.

William Charles love the youtube videos you link to. I watch them all 🙂
Thanks =D
Why is losing backup funding important? Were you able to initiate a debit transaction such as buying an MO with a nearly empty Serve, then indirectly pay for it using the CC backup source to earn points/meet MSR?
That is such BS — over half of Delta’s fine was waived because they “upgraded” their systems and paid compensation to travelers. The point of the fine is to punish them for violations of the law, the fact that they compensated customers (who would demand compensation after 5 hours on a stationary plane) has no bearing.
“You could still earn points on third party issued American Express cards, although I suspect most readers are banned.”
You can still earn points after this change, too. The email said nothing about stopping online funding using CC, which can be automated. Maybe this is an omen that they’ll soon stop that too, but for now it seems like we’re safe.
“every-bodies”? Heard good things about Grammarly, let me know if you need a referral. 😉
I’ve tried grammarly before and it sucks because if it makes a change it removes any formatting you had previously
Not sure about your workflow – have you looked at this? https://support.grammarly.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000091512-Preserve-text-formatting
My comment was meant to be a joke anyway 🙂
Yeah I tried it with the grammarly browser extension and it just ruins any formatting if any changes are made. From what I heard from support it’s not fixable unless you upload it onto grammarly and then download, but like you say that doesn’t really work for our workflow. I’m OK with mistakes as long as it’s readable
