Seems like these stores are in a lot of Simon Malls. Anybody know if they sell gift cards? What about cheap items slightly more than $10? Can you split tender, if so how many cards is the maximum? Share your experiences in the comments.

they are not selling Gift cards on labor day weekend. I was able to split 7 for $70 yesterday in one transaction for merchandise.
I successfully did 11 splits for a ~$110 purchase yesterday in one transaction (buying merchandise directly, no GC’s).
I went back there yesterday and they wouldn’t sell me any gift cards, claiming they were having issues with the gc system… So I purchased merchandise and was successfully able to split a $60 purchase between 6 cards. I’m assuming you can do more and what the cashier told me 2 weeks ago was not accurate.

Yes, exactly right. The cashier called the manager at first, but once we explained why we are doing that everything was fine.
Why not buy store gift cards first and then pay with purchased gift cards for merchandise? Or buying GCs won’t trigger AMEX bonus?

Drove my family to the store yesterday. The allowed us to count total cost of merchandise that we picked in the store, then sold us GCs with $20 value splitting in our 2 AMEX cards, following by us paying for merch with GCs. $350 in total. Great deal. Thanks
So they allowed you to purchase a $20 gift card splitting it across two amex cards and then allowed 18 GC’s to be used in a single transaction?
What’s the maximum number of cards they will split the transaction for?

You can add the offer through mobile even if it is not targeted for you.
Select view nearby offers and scroll the map to a location where the store is located and refresh the screen. you can find the offer pop up.
I have searched the area surrounding Arora, IL as I know there is a van Heusen store in chicago premium outlets.
This works for iPhone not sure how it works for Android.
