• Unity Bank is offering a bonus of $150 when you open a new business checking account and maintain a $2,500 average monthly balance for 180 days after account opening.

The Fine Print

• Offer applicable for new monies only, funds not held at Unity Bank in the past 90 days.
• Offer valid 8/1/18-11/30/18. Cannot be combined with other offers.
• Checking account must remain open, active and in good standing for 180 days.
• Limit one bonus per customer.
• The $2,500 average monthly balance is required in the new business checking account for 180 days of account opening to receive offer.
• Bonus will be deposited automatically into your new checking account within 10 days after the 180-day qualification period.
• Bonus is not considered part of the minimum opening deposit.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

They offer a free checking account with no monthly fees to worry about. Account must remain active and in good standing for 90 days, unsure if there is any other early account termination fee.

Our Verdict

Not as good as it previously was as you need to tie up $2,500 for 180 days, that’s a bit of a pain but still not that bad if you can float the money. As always if anybody goes for this bonus please share your experiences. For now I won’t be adding it to our list of the best business checking bonuses. Due to the fact we’ve seen easier bonuses to complete from this bank before.
