It looks like Reddit user lolpretz has discovered another way to access increased American Express offers, as of earlier today. This is similar to the highest offer method found by prussiablue. This is a very YMMV method and you’ll want to try different browsers to try to get it to work.
New Highest Offer Method
- Open a new incognito window. You may want to try a browser you don’t normally access americanexpress.com with, or first clear your cookies & cache.
- Go to an increased offer link that is not accessible to you, such as this one (which I believe is the Plat 75k/$5k). The link will say it is expired, but that’s okay.
- Click Cards > Travel Rewards Cards at the top. You should see a bunch of increased offers for the travel rewards cards.
- Then click Cards > View All Personal Charge & Credit Cards. You should see a bunch of increased offers on regular cards.
Increased Offers
The increased offers you should be able to see are as follows:
- Blue Cash Everyday – $250 + 10% At Amazon
- Blue Cash Preferred – $250 + 10% At Amazon
- American Express EveryDay – 15,000/25,000 Points
- American Express Everyday Preferred – 30,000 Points
- American Express Green Card – 25,000 Points
- American Express Gold Card – 25,000 Points
- Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express – 50,000 Points
- Starwood Preferred Guest – 30,000 Points
- American Express Personal Platinum – 75,000 Points
- American Express Delta Gold Card – 50,000 miles + $50 statement credit with Delta purchase
Our Verdict
The $250 Blue Cash Everyday & 25k EveryDay are the best offers, since they are normally very hard to get. The BCE is even better if you can max out the Amazon category (which may be more difficult after Christmas). Keep in mind the standard American Express rules apply.
