Synchrony Bank Credit Cards: A List, Best Cards & Easiest Cards To Get Approved For

Synchrony Bank is the consumer arm of Synchrony financial (formerly GE Capital Retail Finance Corporation), they are one of the biggest card issuers of store cards and store credit cards. They have partnerships  In this post we will look at a full list of the credit cards and store cards they offer.

These cards can be used where ever the payment process (e.g Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. Where possible we have linked to our in depth reviews of these products.

For the purposes of this post, we consider a store card a card that doesn’t have a partnership with a payment network (e.g Visa, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, etc) and can’t be used anywhere those cards are accepted and instead can only be used at a specific store or stores. These cards can only be used at the stores they are branded for, as such they aren’t really credit cards but store cards.

Apply In Store

There are a few store cards that you must apply for in store. They are as follows:

  • Yamaha
  • Suzuki
  • Polaris
  • KTM
  • Kawasaki

Best Synchrony Cards

Most of the store cards aren’t even remotely worth considering as they just offer no interest if paid in full within 6 months on purchase of $199 or more (Blispay offers this and also gives you 2% cash back). This is usually the best case scenario as well, as often they won’t really offer anything at all.

Some of the actual credit cards are a bit more interesting, for example:

Easiest Synchrony Cards To Get

Unlike Comenity Bank the SCT (shopping cart trick) will not work for these cards, that being said the store cards will most likely be easier to get than the credit cards. If you have bad credit you might be better off either using the SCT or getting a secured card such as the Discover it secured.

Final Thoughts

I’m sure I’ve missed some store and credit cards, so feel free to contribute in the comments below. Also let me know if you think any cards should be added to the best or easiest to get lists.

That’s good to know, was considering a Amazon store card. Read some reviews regarding payment issues, have you had any problems submitting your payments?

      • Andee says:

No problem with my payments on my Amazon store card BUT you must make the payment at least 2-3 days before the due date for it to credit on time. The fine print tells you this up front.

  4. Rad says:

Applied for the Sam’s card and got rejected – I think because the last time I applied my score was about 200 points lower than it is now. The rejection letter lists the old score, even though I got a hit on my report suggesting that they pulled the new one. Any idea what number I should call to get reconsidered?

  5. Thanks for your help. Giant Eagle FuelPerks credit card pays 14 cents per gallon of gas for every $50 spent in the store. Also they offer many other weekly gas rewards with the Advantage Card, such 20 cents per gallon off for a $20 purchase of certain brand name items. Gift cards from many other stores can be bought a Giant Eagle with added gas rewards. Currently the gas sells for about $2.34 so it is possible to get up to 30 gallons per month completely free. The rewards carry over for a few months, however they also expire after a few months so it is wise to check online or on the receipt for expiration dates.
