The Offer
- Fulton Bank is offering customers a bonus of $125 when they open a new savings account and complete the following requirements:
- Save $1,000 or more within 60 days (need to have a $1,000 balance after 60 days)
The Fine Print
- Promotion only available to intended recipients of this landing page who either apply now using the above link or visit a branch. Existing savings account customers are not eligible for this offer. Fulton Bank does not offer products and services to individuals who live outside of our service area.
- This offer is valid for new consumer savings account customers only who have not had a savings account with any affiliate of Fulton Financial Corporation within the last 12 months.
- All money deposited at account opening must be new money to the bank. Promotion is limited to one $125 cash bonus per household/address.
- Fulton Financial Corporation employees and immediate family members sharing a household are not eligible.
- May not be combined with any other offer.
- This offer is valid when you open a new Statement Savings account between October 19, 2020 and November 30, 2020.
- We will credit one $125 bonus to your savings account if on day 60 after account opening you have a new money balance of at least $1,000.
- New money is defined as funds not currently on deposit with Fulton Bank by the account holder.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Need a balance of $100+ to avoid the monthly fee.
Early Account Termination Fee
I can find no references to an early account termination fee on their website
Our Verdict
Better than the previous $100 bonus. Seems like people that have done the $200 checking bonus are getting targeted for this (but not all of them). We won’t add this to the best bank bonuses page as it’s targeted, but worth doing if targeted.

Email Savings Bonus: $125 3/19
Was not targeted, assumed I wouldn’t have gotten it.
Thanks! I checked an got it, too, today! I had given up. Nice surprise. (I also was not targeted)
Anyone gotten the bonus yet? I deposited on October 27 and still nothing.
Following; I deposited October 20 and nothing yet.
Nov 5 for me. Nothing yet. Will update if anything changes.
Nothing yet
Opened 10/28 and still nothing
I opened on 10/29. Talked to them today. The rep inquired with the marketing team and said that they could not find my name and email address in their list of targeted customers. So I will not get the bonus.
I got the same response via secure message. Oh well.
I got a check in the mail today for $125 in response to my promotion inquiry. The letter with the check stated that even though I wasn’t targeted for the promotion, since my account met all the eligibility criteria, they’re providing me the $125 bonus via check because my savings account was closed.
I got rejected online. Still wondering if its worth it going into the branch?

How do you know if you are targeted? I recently opened a Fulton checking account for the $200 bonus. Is there an email notice for this?
Doesn’t say anything regarding DD.. just have to deposit $1,000 in new funds.
Can be funded with a credit card up to $500. Just funded with Visa.
Signed up as an existing Fulton Bank checking customer without being targeted, will see how this progresses.
Did you get the bonus? I did the same and have held $1k balance for 63 days at this point – no bonus yet.
No monthly fee is NOT true
https://www.fultonbank.com/Personal/Banking/Savings/Savings-Accounts
“$100 minimum daily balance to avoid monthly fee.”
So we need to put $100 in during opening or shortly after? Then $1,000 before day 60?
