Our Verdict
I can’t seem to find the Waldorf offer on my cards; these are nice savings if you have them. There’s an offer for many Marriott properties as well.

So just want to confirm, got it on the Plat business. But we can’t use this deal then if we have to book thru Amex FHR for the FHR amenities/credits? Is that correct? TIA!
Correct, to get the FHR benefits you have to pre-pay with Amex. Since the charge isn’t processed directly w/ Hilton you wouldn’t get the Amex offer credit.
True if OP means the $200 credit on the Plat (non-business). But you can get the Amex FHR amenities by booking through FHR and paying at hotel with whatever Amex card had the offer mentioned here.
Or offers. I have at least one card with 3 Hilton offers including Mexico, so someone going to the right property there could score $450 back on $1000 spend … plus FHR amenities if you wanted to book it through them.
It depends. I booked the crockfords at Resorts world Las Vegas through FHR and it triggered an Amex offer for spend there. It actually triggered three Amex offers. Spend at Crockfords and get $100, spend at Hilton and get $100 and spend at a Hilton in Vegas and get $40.

The new promo is actually better than the old one because it can be used in more countries. This one is actually valid in “in China, Germany, France, Scotland, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Mexico and the US,” not just the US. Great to see it’s more useful, could be worth updating the fine print above.
Showed up on my Platinum but none of my three Aspires
Same. Not seeing it on the amex connect site this time.
This is the 3rd time that’s happened to me (this is the 3rd AO iteration) and it’s a really sad trend.
Has this offer been pulled? I added it to my card and it has disappeared.
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas charges you the full reservation amount at time of booking, which for me immediately triggered the resort credit on Aspire. Presumably it would trigger this Amex offer as well.
Not saying anyone should make a fake booking and then cancel later for refund, but this prepayment could be very helpful if you are planning a stay past the end date for the Amex Offer.
Also it may be worth pointing out that WALV takes a ridiculous amount of time (~6 weeks) to refund the prepayment upon cancellation. I didn’t book and cancel to game the credit; I just re-booked a couple times because the price dropped over 20% for the night.

if we have multiple hilton offers on the same card, do they all stack? (spend 300, get 60 off, spend 250, get 50 off)
If the purchase fits the terms of the 2 offers, then yes amex has stacked in the past. I haven’t tried for Hilton specifically.
I wish I got this offer. I had $900 in incidentals at the Waldorf in Cabo but my offer was only $60 off $300 spend.
