Our Verdict

According to Gift Card Wiki, the best rate you can get when selling Carrabba’s gift cards is 76%, if you bought a $25 gift card you’d pay $15 and could resell it for $19 for a profit of $4 per card (assuming the 76% rate stays stable), you’ll also any credit card rewards points. Not really worth it unless Carrabba’s lets you split tender and purchase multiples at once.

I went in today and got 13 $25 gc’s. The guy was kinda annoyed but whatever.

By the way, ABC Gift cards isn’t showing up on Gift Card Wiki, but they’re buying at 80% right now, which is better than the best option currently listed on Gift Card Wiki (76% at Saveya)

Also, offer is good until May 31. Possible that they’ll have one of those deals where you get a bonus card if you buy a certain amount in GCs? Maybe for Mother’s Day. I think last year it was Fathers Day that they ran the promo for, though.

Don’t see why you couldn’t go in during a slow time and buy a $25 gift card with each of your Amex’s. Not a huge profit, but could be worth it if there’s one on your way somewhere.
Also great deal for anyone who actually goes to the restaurant or one of the others that their GCs work at. Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill, at least.

I was planning on trying a $25 gift card and reporting back but the small print in the offer notes the credit will appear on your statement within 90 days after 5/31/16. This card is on my dump list for early May because of the $175 renewal fee I’ll incur otherwise. Finally I was actually interested in one of their add to card offers and the time frame is just too far off.

Typically the offer posts within a couple days. But if something goes wrong and they need to manually credit you, they’ll tell you to wait 90 days before calling back.
