The Offer
- CommunityAmerica Credit Union is offering a $250 bonus when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
- Use promo code 3045 or 3053
- Earn $150: Open a new checking account and get a free Visa debit card
- Earn $50: Set up a direct deposit of $500 or more
- Earn up to $50: Use your debit card on purchases of $5 or more in the first 60 days
The Fine Print
- $250 Promotion. Promotion available as of June 1, 2026, is subject to change without notice and may end at any time. New members who reside in Northwest Arkansas or the following counties in California: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura are eligible.
- Promo code 3045 or 3053 must be entered at time of application.
- New members who open a qualifying CommunityAmerica checking account (excludes Turning Point Checking and Student Checking) with a debit card receive a $150 bonus.
- Earn an additional $50 bonus by establishing a recurring ACH Direct Deposit of at least $500 aggregate per month within 60 days of account opening.
- Earn an additional $1 bonus for each purchase made with new CommunityAmerica debit card that is equal to or exceeds $5 within the first 60 days of account opening, limit $50 bonus.
- All bonuses are credited to the member’s share savings account between 60 and 90 days after account origination.
- All bonuses are limited to one per member and account.
- Members with multiple accounts or accounts with multiple owners will not receive multiple bonuses.
- Account must be in good standing to receive any bonus and member responsible for all applicable taxes.
- Membership eligibility and account qualification apply, which includes opening a membership savings of at least $1.
- CommunityAmerica employees, volunteers, and family members not eligible.
- Members cannot have had a CommunityAmerica membership within the last three (3) years.
- Not valid with any other offers.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Has offered a bonus of $400 in other markets, so not sure if it’s worth waiting for something bigger? This seems to be the old Unify Credit Union locations so not sure if you’ll qualify if you had an account with them?
