Our Verdict

This card launched in July 2022 with a $200 bonus, then went down to $100. It’s now up to $300, highest ever. I’m not seeing the free year of Instacart+ offer showing anymore, let me know if I’m missing it. (Some people will have a free year of Instacart+ from the Sapphire Reserve card.)

It’s rare to see a $300 signup bonus with no spend requirement; just remember you are using up a 5/24 spot. Beyond the initial bonus, the main interesting thing is 5% back on Instacart purchases which is useful for heavy Instacart shoppers and is on par with the 5% Amazon and 5% Target REDcard offerings. We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup bonuses.

Anyone know if the included year of Instacart+ will stack with a current membership? I still have 6 months or so from my CSR left.

Any info on instacart+ (plus) trial period?
I’m trying to maximize my savings by shopping at aldis and doing pickup option to avoid the delivery fees. What are the pickup fees after the first 3 free pick ups? Does the instacart+ program elimitate the pickup fees?

Curious if anybody was approved who was over 5/24. I ask because Chase had an Amazon card sign up bonus that was not sensitive to 5/24. So perhaps this offer may not be sensitive to 5/24 either?

Does anyone know which bureau they pull? I’m over 5/24 on Transunion, but not the others.

Isn’t 5/24 cards opened, not pulls?

Frey . You’re correct: 5/24 typically refers to card accounts opened/months, although the commenter might be referring just to their hard pull count and trying to spread out which bureaus are getting hit the most.

That was easy, instant approval, and then it had a link to ‘go back to Instacart’. When I clicked it, the $300 credit showed up immediately and the card was in my account and ready to use.

I originally tried Instacart when I got the $50 credit from the Tiicker offer (thanks to Doc). For the regional grocery store I use it at, the Instacart price is the same as the in-store price. It also lets you put in your Shopper club # for the store to get the same store credits as well.

I just place the order for pickup, then pay attention for when they start shopping to be ready to pick an alternate item if something is out of stock. All my orders have been ready to pickup about 30 minutes after placing.

Then there’s half a dozen Instacart parking spots in front of the store. If I have the app open and click ‘on my way’ when heading to the store, they’re literally walking out with the cart of stuff as I pull into the parking spot. Just pop the trunk, they load it up and you’re on your way.

This 1099 confusion could’ve been avoided if they simply did what Barclays does on the AAviator and make the bonus “after first purchase”

I received the credit immediately. After instant approval, there was a link that said ‘return to Instacart’. When I clicked that, the $300 credit was already in my account.

I got the credit 4 days after applying due to i assume from my browser being subpar. I signed up to instacart on 1 browser and had to sign up to the chase offer on 2md browser.
. It seems to be a nightmare trying to get the most value out of this $300

My application went into review mode, I got approval after 5 days. But I don’t see credits. What did you do to get credits? DO I need to talk to Chase or Instacart?

Mine was under review for 8 hours i guess. Do you know where to look to see your credit amount? I was new to instacart so i assume that is why it took 4 days to notice the $300 credit or i assume they have to manually credit your account and that took 4 days.

I know where to look for credit. I sent email to Instacart, worse customer service from them. They are not at all helpful.
Can you look at the credit history in your account, so that you know when they added. You can look instacart credit history using: https://www.instacart.com/store/account/promo_history

Yea, i’m not planning on buying anything from instacart again after i use up this $300. They overcharge 15%-25% when everything is said and done
