Chase Sapphire Reserve Now Has Access To Digital Priority Pass Memberships

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card includes a priority pass membership, there is no limit to the amount of guests you can bring in making it one of the best Priority Pass memberships offered on a credit card. The downside is that you haven’t been able to get a digital membership card, that has now changed and it’s possible to register for a digital membership card now. Not all lounges accept the digital membership, so holding onto the physical card and keeping it in your wallet is still necessary but this is still a nice back up plan to have activated.

Not sure why this took so long, but glad to see it’s now possible. If you have trouble telling the different between your priority pass cards, this post will help you. You can register for the digital membership here, I’d recommend doing that now if you have the Sapphire Reserve so you don’t forget. JPMorgan Reserve can used this link. Unfortunately it looks like you need to set up a new account, as I don’t see anyway to add it to an existing account. Priority Pass has really been stepping up their game recently, adding a lot of restaurants to airports where they have no traditional lounge presence. For example:

I registered my Priority Pass from CSR directly on prioritypass.com… and today I was told by the Chase rep that it will not work this way digitally… I was able to create an account just fine, and see the card with the 2D barcode, but the chase benefits rep still says it will not be recognized by the lounges, and I need to re-register it via chasedmc link. Does it make sense? Has anybody experienced this issue? I do not mind re-registering it, but with all those system integrations I am afraid it may create a bigger mess.

If anybody can share their experience I would greatly appreciate it. Does anybody registered it directly and had issues using it?

Thank you BIG TIME in advance!

Hello VL, Just wondering if you were able to resolve this issue. I’m in the same position where I first registered directly on prioritypass.com but I do not see the card with the barcode. I tried registering again via chasedmc but it does not accept my membership number. Thanks in advance for your response!

I decided to not make any changes, and it worked fine as is. Both physical and digital. Checked it many times since then. I was mostly concerned about my SO Priority Pass card, since we downgraded her CSR. but the PP card remained active with the expiration date in 2021. So I did not want to touch that account, an it works both digital and physical just fine as well (also registered NOT via chase’s link).

More than that. After that I added an AU on my account specifically to get him the PP, and registered his card the same way as I did mine (directly at PP), and it also works fine.

So, as usual CSR was telling what they were told to tell… but at the end of the day if you open PP account it should work fine.

Good luck.

You have a reference above to https://www.doctorofcredit.com/quick-guide-differentiating-priority-pass-cards/, which says Chase does NOT allow digital cards. Confusing. I’d update it.

Thank you for this post. I would never have found out about this otherwise and have a history of forgetting where my card is.

Any idea if this works at restaurants that give you credit for PP members? (Capers in PDX, for example.) I would guess so, they run it through the same terminal they have at the lounge, but just wondering how universal the digital PP is.

@Doc – In the iOS app, you can add multiple accounts and switch between them (though you cannot add multiple cards to the same PP account like you mentioned)

Also, you can get the Apple Wallet version of the passes from the app so that you can have them easily accessible and potentially share it with a family member (though accessing the lounge often needs a matching ID as well)

Got mine from JP Morgan Reserve. Tried the link and had no luck. Contacted customer service and was told that PPS from JPMorgan should use another link: https://www.prioritypass.com/jpmdmc, which basically replace “chase” with “jpm” in the link you posted.

Does this work for other credit cards that offer Priority Pass or only CSR?

OK – I already signed up for a PP account with my CSR PP. It asks me to sign up for a new account – how do I add it to my existing account?
I tried logging into my account, but I can’t find any option to add it once I’m in, and the signup link above only has an option to sign up for a new account!

Dose priority pass from Ritz have digital pass as well, or it just for CSR?

Since CSR gives you a new priority card every year (assuming you don’t cancel it), my guess would be you will need a new PP account for the digital card every year. Just 2017 things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
