- Firstrust Bank is offering a bonus of 50,000 points (worth $450) when you open a new Eagles Small Business Checking account and complete the following requirements:
- Make $500 in debit card purchases totaling $500 or more within 60 days of account opening
The Fine Print
- Minimum to open an Eagles Small Business Checking account is $100. To qualify for bonus reward points, customers must open a new Eagles Small Business Checking account with a debit card. Cardholder must make debit card purchases totaling $500 or more within 60 days of new account opening. Offer valid for new accounts opened 1/1/2024 – 12/31/2025.
- Terms and conditions of the Master Commercial Account Agreement, Visa Business Debit Card and ATM Card Cardholder Agreement, and the Rewards Points Program Rules apply to the Eagles Relationship Business Checking Account. Reward points have no cash value.
- Bonus reward points will be paid within 30 days after the completion of the $500 spend. Earn points for debit card purchases. Points will not be earned and the bonus reward point spend requirement will not be satisfied by using your debit card for ATM or other cash withdrawals, for transferring funds, for Bill Pay transactions (such as payment of utility bills, insurance premiums, or other recurring/periodic bills etc.), or for transactions using third-party money transmission service providers (for example, PayPal, Venmo, Money Gram, etc.). - oints are earned for everyday qualifying Visa purchases. Offer can be withdrawn at any time.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

This account has a $10 monthly fee. This is waived when you maintain a $1,000 minimum daily balance
Early Account Termination Fee
There is an early account termination fee of $25 if closed within a year.
Our Verdict
The points system is a bit annoying but the some redemptions are:
- 12,400 points = $100 cash back via ACH
- 10,800 points = $100 gift card to Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Cabela’s Best Buy, Sephora
- 3600 points = $25 cash back via ACH
- 6500 points = $50 cash back via ACH
- 9500 points = $75 cash back via ACH
- 5500 points = $50 gift card to Amazon, Home Depot, Darden Restaurants, Best Buy, etc…
- 3200 points = $25 gift card to Apple
- 2700 points = $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble
So the 35,000 point bonus is basically 3 x $100 gift cards and the 50,000 point bonus is 4 x $100 gift cards and a $50 ACH. Think this is the first business bonus we have seen from Firstrust so not sure how strict they are on business documents. Will be added to the best business checking bonuses.
