Avoiding Fees
This account has no monthly fees or monthly minimums to worry about. I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
Hard pull and the fact they are inquiry sensitive absolutely destroy any value in this deal. Simply not worth taking a hard pull for a $100 bonus that has a direct deposit requirement and is also taxed. Because of that I can’t recommend this bonus to anybody, especially when there as so many other better bonuses available.

Point of information? It says that it requires RECURRING direct deposits by 4/16/18. And that the $100 will be awarded on 5/16/18. So, does that mean there is only 4 direct deposits required —- and once the bonus is awarded —- one can stop the direct deposits and end the relationship with the bank?
Most likely, yes.
thanks for the speedy reply Will!!
Hard pull would not be pleasant, also the “Direct deposits must be reoccurring and equal to or greater than $250.”
So we may need DD/ACHs for multiple months until the May pay-out date, too…
Just called to verify the monthly service fees, etc. and casually asked about credit inquiries as I’m planning on refinancing. Was told both a credit check and Chex 🙁
