Avoiding Fees
They offer a free checking account with no monthly fees to worry about. I wasn’t able to find any early account termination fee in their fee schedule.
Our Verdict
Nice bonus as direct deposit isn’t required and there are no monthly fees to worry about. Unfortunately it’s a hard pull so not worth considering I don’t think. As always please share your experiences in the comments below. It won’t be added to the best bonus page due to the hard pull.

Hard pull for $100? Hmm…. I’m not seeing how this is worth it.
Does anyone do MO deposit with DCCU? What kind of volume?
It’s an Equifax hard pull. I opened an account two weeks ago.
Now I’m wondering if they will match the promo?
Opened an account with them last year, and specifically asked the bank manager if it would result in a hard pull – they said no…of course a hard pull showed up later that week. Was told by the bank manager she had no recollection of our conversation
Thanks, updated post.
I didn’t complete the signup process, stopping when I saw the below language:
‘I Authorize Delta Community Credit Union to obtain credit reports in connection with my request for membership’
Seems to be confirmed by two data points now as well, that’s a bummer.
I opened a checking account with them 2 year ago as they have a branch at my work location (Delta Air Lines HQ) but it turned out to be a HP. Buyer beware
Thanks, updated post.
