the terms include “complete a survey” – kind of vague since I opened an account and don’t see a survey..

How can a bank use “may be”? “New accountholders who meet qualifications may be eligible for a $50 bonus”

Like you get the bonus if they feel like it? It would be different if it just read “New accountholders may be eligible for a $50 bonus” but they specifically say if you meet qualifications you MAY BE eligible.

There’s nothing like this in the fine print, though.

Some inaccuracies in this post.

Availability: Nationwide, must be selected and iOS only.
This is region restricted for a limited rollout. You don’t have to be selected anymore. If it’s available in your region you can get the bonus.

You must register your interest
There is no registering for interest. You just open the accounts if your zip code is in a rollout region.

These are probably left over from using the $150 post as a template, but it looks like the offer details have changed.

I registered when it was $150 too and only heard back a week ago. Now that it’s only $50, I’ll pass.
