  • Set up a direct deposit or auto payment minimum of $250 cumulative per month
  • Download mobile banking app
• This account also earns 3% APY if the above requirements are met within a statement cycle

The Fine Print

• $300 bonus will be credited to customer’s new GO Checking after account requirements listed above are met.
• Bonus will be paid within the following statement cycle after all requirements are met.
• Customer must be a new checking account client.
• $300 reward will be reported as miscellaneous income to IRS on 1099-MISC.
• Requirements must be met by 11/3/2018.

I wasn’t able to find the fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is an early account termination fee or not.

Our Verdict

Previously the biggest offer they had was $100 referral bonus to both parties. This is a much better bonus. Unfortunately we still don’t know whether this is a hard or soft pull to open. Assuming it’s a soft pull this is definitely worth doing if you live near to a branch. This will likely be added to the best checking account bonuses.
