Deal has expired, click here for current American Express offers.

The Offer

No direct link, targeted offer

  • Get a one-time $40 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $200+ in one or more transactions purchased directly from JetBlue via jetblue.com by 11/20/2018

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid on airline tickets and vacation packages purchased directly from JetBlue via jetblue.com, mobile app, or by telephone.
  • Purchases such as seat upgrades, baggage fees, travel insurance, and pet fees are included if purchased at time of booking.
  • Excludes JetBlue Cruises, hotel bookings, car rentals, shopjetblue.com purchases, purchase from partner or third party sites linking to/from jetblue.com and on-board flight purchases.

Our Verdict

Another nice airline deal from American Express, they recently added a Delta deal as well. JetBlue doesn’t sell gift cards, keep in mind the $200 spend is cumulative it doesn’t need to be in a single transaction.

Entering this discussion a bit late. Not Mosaic here. If you cancel a jetblue ticket within 24 hours, you’re given the option of a full refund to the original form of payment OR travel bank credit in the amount of the original ticket. I see no reason why this wouldn’t trigger the Amex bonus.

Anyone know if this works on points purchase?

I’m jetblue mosaic and have the offer on 2 cards. I probably won’t travel before 11/20 with them, but I assume I could book 2*$200+ flights, get the 2*$40 amex credits, then a few weeks later cancel the flights and get the 2*$200 flights cost back in my travelbank (which is valid up to 1 year), right?

Did you end up doing this? I am tempted.

I got it on my SPG Business card but not my Business Gold card.

Hmm I thought the incognito trick no longer works. I was able to add it to my blue cash ($40) and everyday (4,000 MR) cards

Are they technically different offers, since the statement credit is swapped with the MR points? Even though the min. spend requirement is same?

I believe it may still add to the cards, but if you log off and on again, it the offer won’t be shown as added to your second card. Can you confirm?

They are still there after logging out and in. I wonder if its a loophole ($ vs MR) that you can have more than one
