Our Verdict

Best shopping portal rate is 6% cash back currently (has been 8% recently though so might be worth waiting for it to increase?) Most people are interested in GoPro HERO5 Session, unfortunately that has already sold out but they do have other GoPro’s available and a bunch of other stuff for sale. I personally bought a GoPro a few years ago and honestly don’t use it as much as I thought I would, but I know others love theirs so YMMV I guess? If anybody finds anything else interesting let us know.

Is this offer dead? I don’t see it on any of my amex cards anymore I remember seeing it before

Doc. You dont use your GoPro often because you dont give enough time to the hotties in your bedroom. You need a break man. and also a selfie stick.

I was considering doing the GoPro Hero 5 Black for $434 ($400+$34 in taxes, no shipping) through the BA portal for ~2,400 Avios, but after doing the math, earning 10,434 MR and ~2,400 Avios isn’t worth losing $90 on reselling the item and the amount of time invested. The ~13,000 points are definitely worth the $90 cash outlay (buying MR/Avios at ~0.007cpp!), but factoring in the time invested for reselling along with the risk of a canceled order makes this a no-go for me.

Thanks for posting this! Glad I was able to see another angle on this deal, as earlier today when I saw the Amex Offer on my PRG, I couldn’t find any re-sellable products.

Not sure where your $90 loss in resell comes from, I would LOVE to have this deal. Too bad I wasn’t targeted. 🙁

Hahaha…..

“Most people are interested in GoPro”

then in the SAME paragraph:

“I personally bought a GoPro a few years ago and honestly don’t use it as much as I thought I would”

Does VIRTUAL GIFT CARD count? Anyone can confirm?

Have you tested this out? Did the virtual gc trigger the credit?
How about physical gc, did that trigger the credit?

Let’s just say it was a gun to your head situation. I think I’d rather pay $700 for that then have to pay $100 for this if I had to wear it:

Who the F**k shops on this site? Is looking like a table cloth the new thing?

Pity I wasn’t targeted.

$720! When I was young, I never wanted to pay $20 at a venue for a T-shirt. This includes NFL matches. Unbelievable. You have to be out of your mind to buy something like that for that amount when you can get it for $10 outside of the venue or in some cheap store such as Walmart’s.
