The Fine Print
- Offer valid for takeout dining at participating US locations, on Shake Shack App purchases, and on purchases of food made online but picked up in-restaurant.
- Excludes locations in ballparks, stadiums, airports, and racetracks, and international locations.
- Not valid on purchases of merchandise and gift cards made online and transactions made through third party delivery services.
Our Verdict
Not a huge deal but nice for the shake shack fans.

Last one I went to wanted my email and phone number to order. Then the order status website page said they need my ok to market to me and sell my data etc. Probably why they do these $5 offers.
Does it have to be one purchase, or will they count it if you make two $8 purchases on different days? Probably not going to spend $15 here for just myself, but if they will count it over 2 visits would be decent.
Should be stackable with monthly dining credit on co-branded (Hilton/Delta) cards too.

Post says receive $50 credit on first line. Which would be a killer deal.
Still $5 back on $15 stacked with $10 dinning credit from gold card makes for a free lunch
