8/9 – $1k Fairwinds DD
8/10 – $500 Sofi Money DD
8/17 – $1500 Schwab Brokerage DD
8/20 – $500 Fairwinds DD
8/25 – $24.95 monthly maintenance fee assessed and waived
9/8 – $2k Sofi Money DD
9/8 – $400 “adjusted interest” bonus posted

My last bonus was received on 7/9 of last year. Good thing I didn’t wait for a better bonus to come along due to the new 24 month terms.

I see the household restriction has been lifted, but last year had one, and that’s why I couldn’t get P2 or P3 in on this deal as well. They’ll have to wait another year or so to get their bonuses.

I will withdraw everything and email to close with a zero balance by around the 25th of this month so I don’t get charged any monthly fees. You can email to close if you have a zero balance, you only have to call them to close if you have a remaining balance in your account when you close.

Michael Based on my previous experience with US Bank, you will be required to call to have the account closed. Just received my bonus as well and also glad I got in on this before the 24 month change went into effect!

You can email to close. I just closed my account fully via email and received email confirmation as of 9/17 that it was closed. You just have to have a zero balance in your account in order to do this at the time of closing.

7/10 Account Opened
7/14 $2500 Push From USAA
7/20 $24.95 Fee Assessed And Waived
7/23 $2500 Push From USAA
7/23-8/12 10 Debit Card Purchases Greater Than $50
8/18 $24.95 Fee Assessed And Waived

I’ve had US Bank checking accounts in the past and USAA is confirmed to trigger but hasn’t happened yet. As a backup, I started pushing funds from Chase checking.

8/23 $2,000 Push From Chase
8/27 $2,000 Push From Chase
9/2 $3,000 Push From Chase

Still waiting for $400 bonus as of 9/3. Probably going to incur the $24.95 fee on 9/18 which sucks because US Bank waives the first 2 cycles for personal accounts; however, my first cycle was only 10 days rather than a full month.

Can anyone clarify the debit card transactions requirement: “10 or more debit card transactions totaling $50 or more”

Does this mean: “10 x $50=total $500” or “10 x $5=$50”?

Uhhh 10 x ? = $50

Doesn’t have to be $5 transaction as there isn’t a minimum per transaction.
