The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only at dell.com US website, through the merchant mobile app or via phone at 1-877-350-0204.
  • Valid only for purchases made directly with the merchant.
  • Transactions through third party payment processors are excluded.
  • This offer does not apply to refurbished items, systems or spare parts and is not valid for online auctioneers, Professional Associations, or other Dell Member Purchase Programs. Excludes all e-gift card and gift card purchases, international transactions, international contact center, Global events, Dell Financial services, Dell Outlet for Home, Dell Outlet for Work, Dell PartnerDirect, Dell Premier, Dell Premier Connect, Dell Premier Select, and authorized Dell® retailers.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside the US, Puerto Rico, USVI and Guam. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.

Our Verdict

I assume this won’t show on cards that already have the spend $599, get $120 back deal but if it does the offer stacks. If you have a Business Platinum card you’ll want to save it on that card due to the twice yearly $200 Dell credit.

I wish Amex would bring this Amex offer back since I am in the market for a computer.

So apparently Dell has labelled me as a reseller for some reason. For only buying $200 worth of items per year. How is this even possible????

How do you know they labelled you as a reseller?

What’d they do that you knew they labeled you as a reseller? You can’t purchase? I have recently had all my order attempts immediately cancelled even after the CSR “verifies” my account.

So I’ve been trying to talk to Dell this morning and they also said I was flagged as an unauthorized reseller. It really must be because of the business cards being used for personal use. This is super frustrating. Making these credits useless now.

Had it on P1 and P2 simplycash business card. Also had a 10% off offer, wonder if they will stack?

I went through link for P1, got notification for both the 200/800 and the 10% immediately. Went through TCB portal for P2, no confirmation from amex for those. Guess will just wait and see.

well this would be nice if not for the fact that the slimy cunts at dell and amex have conspired to randomly auto cancel orders placed from customers trying to actually utilize these offers and the biz plat credits. and therefore I can’t get a single dell order to go through without being cancelled. dell has always been a greedy shithole, but amex is becoming closer and closer to that by the day. it’s not a coincidence that amex chose dell for the biz plat credits over many other business technology providers that exist.

Think I am blacklisted too. Cannot get any orders confirmed in the past month despite trying multiple addresses and variations. Dell, why do you not want my money?!

See below. Per Stevenson ‘s suggestion, I placed an order to my credit card address and ordered a physical item. Calling in did not work for me.

Tried that too. Even using guest checkout with a different email. No idea whether the address or the credit card is blacklisted.

In addition to this great offer, I have platinum credits to burn and can’t get any of my Dell orders to not get immediately cancelled. I tried calling them in. Any suggestions on what to do?

Tried calling, still got immediately cancelled. The CSR was perplexed. Told me he would look into it; never got back to me and I called to follow up with him.

In my household, this offer is only available on employee cards. Could be a coincidence.

[Edit: Scratch that. I found it on a primary BBP too.]

Hi is there anyway to use more than 3 CC’s in one Dell transaction? I asked via Chat & they said only 3 cards can be used. Thanks!
