Bank of America: $100/$75/$50 Back for Spending $30 at AT&T [Targeted] – Moneymaker

The Offer

Some people are seeing an excellent Bank Amerideals offer on their Bank of America credit & debit cards.

  • Get $100 or $75 or $50 back when making two separate transactions with AT&T on wireless products or services of at least $15.00 by 6/13/2017

This deal comes up every few months; this is a new round being sent out. Typically, there are three versions of the offer:

  • Get $100 credit after making two $15 purchases
  • Get $75 credit after making two $15 purchases
  • Get $50 credit after making two $15 purchases

You can see a screenshot of a previous offer in this post.

The Fine Print

  • Offer expires 4/29/17 – I think this means you have to save the offer on your BofA account by 4/29 and use it by 6/13
  • Offer valid one time only (you can use it on any card in your online account, but once you use it on one card it can’t be used on another card in the same login)
  • Valid in-store or online at at&t.com or over the phone
  • Cash back is earned within 30 days after making the second transaction

Our Verdict

This deal is outstanding even if you no interest in anything at an AT&T store. Simply buy an accessory (charger, etc.) for $15 at an AT&T store or online at att.com, repeat a second time, and get the bonus. Net profit will be $70/$45/$20, plus some free accessories. From memory, some people have had problems with the credits showing up, but it usually works.

Just make sure that you got this products/services offer and not the one for a new line of service that I and many others are seeing.

Tips:

  • If you’re doing this in-store, be sure to make the purchases at a corporate store, not an Authorized Retailer.
  • If you’re doing this online, try buying a single item that costs $15 or more since AT&T sometimes splits up smaller items into separate charges.
  • It might be worth spacing out the two transactions on different days.
  • Someone mentions the idea of buying 2 x $25 refill card from an AT&T store (these cards work for prepaid plans only).
  • Or you can buy a $25 ATT gift card at the store. Not sure what these can be used on; probably phones or accessories, not on a phone plan.
  • A reader confirms that making $15 payments to your AT&T cellular bill or Uverse internet bill counts to trigger the credit.
  • Don’t forget to go through a portal if ordering online; Topcashback is currently the best at 10%.

Another interesting thing is that one Slickdealser mentions getting the same offer on their Regions Bank debit card. If anyone else can confirm this, let jus know. (If you can also send a screenshot to chuck@doctorofcredit.com that would be great, thanks.)

There is a bunch of people received $50 offer for adding a new line of service. The difference is only expressed in the details section. Be aware.

Additional DP, paid my post pay plan in-store on the kiosk and it triggered the cash back email. I’m not the account holder nor do I have the access code. I only paid using my phone number. I haven’t checked with the holder yet whether the payment showed up but I don’t think it won’t.

I had this offer before ($75 for 2x $15) and tried this deal w/ accessories from att.com and it did not trigger the bonus.
Since many folks report success making a purchase in-store, I’d recommend playing safe and buy some garbage in store.

I also previously got the offer of $75 for 2x $15 purchases. I purchased accessories from AT&T online that totaled >$15 both times, and received the $75.

I got a bit on edge about it though, so I did end up calling BankAmerideals, but it seems like my case would have gone through even without giving BankAmerideals a call.

Did you order $15 before tax or use a cash back site?

I got the credit last time by buying accessories from att.com

Also currently there are nice BankAmeriDeals 5% cb whole foods, 10% cb Starbucks (measly $3 though) and 5% cb on Airbnb up to $34. There’s also 7.99 back on a hulu sub

I have to BoA credit cards (better balance and cash reward). Can I get this offer twice?

Not targeted this time. Last time I got the $75 back after two $15 transactions. Bought two $15 accessories on att.com. Cash back came through.

Uverse bill triggered last offer a month or 2 ago.

I received the $100 variant a few months back. Bought a couple $15 cases a couple days apart. Took a few weeks for the cashback to come through – even saw the offer “expire” but later saw the credit on the account.

Had not seen from the last two posts, so the “1 offer per account” seems to be in force. Can’t complain though, easy moneymaker.

There’s also a proactiv offer ($20) but not sure if it’s combinable with swagbucks ($30) or if you have to click the link provided by the amerideal (doesn’t say you have to).

I just tried this. Will report back if it works or not.

Was targeted last time. Did a $15 and $15.01 online cell phone payment. Didn’t show triggered online. Called in and they said it was “pending” after being transferred around for over thirty minutes, and I should be seeing it soon, but that was a couple weeks ago and still not credit. Guess another call is in order.

I did this last time for the $75 cashback with 2 purchases of $15+. Purchased 2 itunes gc instore in 2 different transactions. Did not get the cashback automotically. It took 4-5 phone calls and approx. 3 mos. but eventually got the cashback.

I was able to buy one $15 iTunes card in store – they only had one! Then I bought a $15 item on att.com (came to $16.01 with tax)… got the cash back with no problem in about two weeks. Sold the iTunes card to cardcash for $9.

Hmm, not targeted with a Merrill + nor Regions debit.

New round–my SO and I were targeted on 1 of 2 Merrills and both Regions debits. Used it to pay regular bills. Hoping to get $175 back with no hassle!

Was targeted two rounds ago @ $75. Was not targeted last round. Targeted this round @ 50. No correlation to anything, it seems.

Got this last time, got two cheap phone cases, and within a week or two I had the $75 credited! Fantastic. Wish I had this offer again this time!
