Warning: They offered a bonus in 2017 and it was mostly a disaster due to out of state applications being allowed and then automatically declined. I’d recommend reading through that thread to know what you’re getting yourself into.

William Charles There’s now a $300 offer, but unfortunately it’s only in CT branches. It’s basically the same as the old offer, but an extra $100 for the DD…
$50 for debit card and enroll in online banking
$50 for eStatements
$200 for direct deposit
Promo code: $300CTConsumer
There’s also a $300 business checking offer that doesn’t seem to have any requirements. This one is also in branch only. The business offer mentions 9/30 expiration, but there’s no date for the personal offer so it’s worth checking before you go to the branch.

Just got approved for a checking account with them.
Opened approximately 8-10 accounts in the past 12 months.
Nevermind, disregard my previous post. Just received an email stating that I was declined due to Chex.
I live in the target area. Applied online today and was approved instantly. Funded $500 (max) with CSR. After approval they request you to upload a pic of license and will be sending docs via email to e-sign. I’ll update if anything goes awry.
Update to round out the data: I received the initial $50 bonus quickly, listed as “Opening PROMO”. I filled all the requirements within the time frame with some $50 DD from work. You definitely have to dig around for how to sign up for e-statements. And then I sat and waited for the other $50 and $100 promos to be added to my account. I lost track for a bit, but I messaged customer service on 9/2 from inside the account and they credited me the rest within one day of replying that they were looking into it. So, otherwise very easy except that you may need to nudge them.
Looks like the link you reference is for the OH Westfield bank. I think this is the one that should be referenced: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ware-ma-westfield-bank-200-checking-promo/ Two different banks the only difference in their domain name is a dash:

My bad, fixed!
The last time they offered a bonus I was approved during he weekend and then declined and sent and adverse action letter the following week. They seemed agitated in the email sent. I received a check for my opening deposit back later in that same week. I had opened a lot of accounts though, probably 15+.
Same here!
Thank you for choosing to open a Westfield Bank deposit account online.

I work within the target area and my application went pending (maybe due to ChexSystems).
Thanks, updated
