It’s a new month, which hopefully means some new deals & tactics to discuss on the blog. But let’s have a look at some of the articles & offers you may have missed from February.
Credit Cards
- Chase to Limit Credit Card Approvals (5/24) on Co-Branded Cards. Get those Chase applications in sooner rather than later. This is going to be a big big change.
- Amex Adds Once-per-Lifetime Limit to Business Cards Signup Bonus. Not good news at all, but was always bound to happen after the introduction of similar.
- How To Get The Chase IHG 80,000 Point Offer. Really good offer that is not talked about nearly often enough.
- Citi Hilton No Annual Fee Card 75,000 Points After $2,000 In Purchases (Highest Ever). As mentioned in the title this is the biggest sign up bonus that they have offered on this card.
- American Express Hilton HHonors (No Annual Fee): 70,000 Points – Highest Bonus Ever. Not as good as the Citi offer above, but still the highest it’s been on this card.
- American Express Hilton Surpass 85,000 Point Bonus Offer [New Highest Bonus]. Even more Hilton points, kind of expect them to up this offer again given how close it is to the no AF card.
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines Credit Card Will Increase Sign Up Bonus To 30,000 Miles In May. Let’s hope that it also includes the $100 statement credit, otherwise it’s not much of an improvement and more of a negative.
- Chase Freedom Unlimited Coming Soon. Pretty big change if it’s true, let’s hope existing cardholders are grandfathered.
- What Foreign Currency Exchange Rate Do Credit Card Issuers Use? There is a lot of misinformation out there about foreign exchange conversions and how they are calculated. Hopefully this clears that up somewhat.
- All You Need to Know about Credit Reporting on Business Cards. If you apply for business credit cards, you should read this.
- Credit Card Issuers That Don’t Do A Hard Pull If You’re Denied. This doesn’t always work, but as long as your credit hasn’t changed significantly then it should be ok.
- Barclaycard Choice Privileges 32,000 Points After $1,000 In Spend (No Stay Requirements). Previously you had to have a Choice stay to get the majority of the bonus, this is no longer the case.
- 24 Things You Should Know About Barclaycard Credit Cards. Really useful summary you should read before applying for a new Barclaycard and also for anybody that already has one.
- 15 Things Everybody Should Know About Wells Fargo Credit Cards. See above, but replace Barclaycard with Wells Fargo.

- Chase Marriott Card Back Up To 80,000 Points (+7,500 For Authorized User, AF Not Waived). Not the best deal they have ever offered, unless you value Mariott points highly.

Bank Bonuses

- “Which High-Interest Savings Account Should I Get?”. A look at the best high interest savings accounts.
- KeyBank $300 Checking Promotion [AK, CO, ID, IN, ME, MI, NY, OH, OR, UT, VT, or WA only]. KeyBank have offered better sign up bonuses in the past (well same bonus but easier to keep fee free), but they are churnable so still probably worth jumping on it.
- How to Use Amazon 50¢ Reloads to Meet Transaction Thresholds. A lot of bank bonuses have PIN/signature requirements, this’ll show you how to change how Amazon processes it.
Deals

- $20 Back On Any Purchase On Pinterest When You Use A Mastercard (Android Only). Bit of a hassle to find products, but $20 is $20 in free products I guess.
