I received a similar but slightly differently worded offer today for Hilton properties in Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America (expiry date of 2/15/2024, but the same “spend $750, receive $150” amounts). And there is some overlap between properties eligible for that offer (https://www.americanexpress.com/content/dam/amex/us/merchant/Hilton-AmexOffer-CALAQ4.pdf) and properties eligible for another offer (https://www.doctorofcredit.com/targeted-amex-offer-hilton-spend-1000-receive-200-statement-credit-u-s-mexico-more-select-brands/).
I know that Zemi Beach House (an LXR property in Anguilla) is eligible for both offers. I haven’t looked further but am sure that there are others.
Anyone know if you can stack this with the Hilton offer from member’s week ($80 off $200 spend). I have both added on my Gold card.
It says it’s eligible at “Hilton portfolio in Mexico” — does that include Waldorf Astoria in Los Cabos, Mexico?
The offer is available on non Aspire Amex cards. If you use the Aspire card and spend $750, you will get points and bonuses that will equal to about $165. at 44X earnings including the current bonus promotion. That’s better than the $150 off you will get by using a non Aspire card. So for Hilton Aspire card users, the Amex offer is actually worse than using the card at Mexico Hilton resorts. For non Aspire members, it’s a fairly good deal.
How are you calculating 44x??
Figured it out. You are assuming all 44x earnings is based on CC usage. This is WRONG. The majority of the 44x is based on HH’s program earnings and the small remainder is on Aspire CC usage. You are still better off (WAY better off) using the $150 off $750 promo on non Aspire Amex cards.
