The Offer

No direct link, targeted offer

  • Get a one time $25 statement credit by using your enrolled card to spend a minimum of $125+ in one or more transactions online at Jet.com by 7/31/2017

The Fine Print

  • Valid at Jet.com or on the Jet.com mobile app. Excludes Jet Anywhere. If you order an item during the offer period but it is not sent until after 7/31/2017, it may not count towards determining whether the purchase qualifies for the offer. Offer is non-transferable.

Our Verdict

You can get 15% off your first 3 orders with the promo code SAVE15. I am a Jet.com newbie, so please share the best deals with me in the comments so I can learn. Seems like giftcards would be an OK deal as they have brands such as Shell, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot etc (unfortunately stock is basically zero currently).

You can currently get a massive 10x points back on Swagbucks for Jet.com purchases (excluding gift cards), worth ~10% back. If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $5 by using a referral link.

Has anyone got problems with gift cards ordered from Jet.com? One gift card shows invalid/$0 from one of my orders…

I got the $25 credit on 07/21 — for a 07/14 transaction ($125 Gift Card purchase) on jet.com

But now I don’t see many gift card options attractive enough to utilize this offer…
I have it on probably all my cards and au cards as well

No credit for me so far for my 07/14 transactions…
Have you contacted Amex about it before?

No email or credit as well. Eligible purchase posted on the 16th. Used chat function, they said wait until the 26th and if it doesn’t post, chat back and they can manually post it.

has anyone that purchased gc from them for the offer contacted Amex about not getting the email? There isn’t anything in the offer language the states gc are not eligible so maybe it just takes a little legwork to get the credit? I’ve been checking everyday and no shell gc that I could use so not sure if I’ll even give it a shot but curious if amex will honor it.

Hi,

anyone’s giftcard order got cancelled by jet.com? I placed two $125 gift card orders last night and two this morning (mixed of Walmart and Shell giftcards). The two placed this morning got cancelled because they thought I was reselling those. I emailed back and told them they are not for reselling, but for personal use.

Rep #1 replied with the following:
“At this current time we can only allow a maximum of 8 gift cards to be purchased. Your last remaining two orders would have put you at 9 so that’s why we did have to cancel. You can still purchase 3 gift cards but anything past that amount will auto cancel within our system. So your more than welcome to grab 3 more.” So I asked “Is it this a daily limitation?  weekly limitation? monthly limitation?  or life time limitation per account?” Rep #1 replied, “It will be 8 per each amex card used. So if you have one card you can only get 8. If you have another amex card that has a completely different login and account information, not tying to previous account used then u could buy 8 more, but that is the only work around for that promotion.”

Later Rep #2 replied with “For the AMEX promotion, the limit is 1 statement credit per American Express online account. If you use 3 different cards on 3 different orders as an example, you will only receive one $25 reward. Only one Jet account is allowed per household at this time.”

I’m really confused. Is there really such a 8 card limitation?

there is nothing to be confused about. based on what Rep 2 said, i am very sad and shocked at the same time. dont even know what to think when a merchant talks about Amex CC Offers policy… the end is no different than Drop or Platiq.

RIP…

Yup. I bought ink jet cartridges just now. No email. I think it may come when it ships based on wording that orders that ship after 7/31 don’t count towards the AmEx offer. Although there IS a pending charge.

I also placed order for GCs this morning and no Amex confirmation– but I am not convinced it will be a problem. The order status on Jet.com says processing and they say they do not charge your credit card until shipment. No pending charge on my Amex so I am assuming this is the reason we are not getting confirmations yet. Did anyone see a pending charge on their Amex AND not get a confirmation message?

I have a $125 pending charge on my AMEX from Jet.com and did NOT receive the normal AMEX offer confirmation email. Bought $125 worth of gift cards.

Ugh. Also I see that the gift cards (I did Whole Foods and CVS) say they are fulfilled by a third party so I hope that doesn’t have anything to do with it. I love Amex offers when they work but hate having to chase after them when they don’t. But I don’t see why it wouldn’t qualify. The “this items is not eligible for promotions” really should not be an issue as it is an Amex promo not one directly through Jet website. Anyway think I will wait on this one to see how much of a hassle it will be…

Jet is primarily a drop shipper, so I’m not super concerned about the gift cards being fulfilled by a third party. I used the Jet AMEX offer the last time it was offered, and I ordered regular everyday items, not gift cards. Almost every item shipped separately and from a “Jet Trusted Partner”, not directly from Jet. And the AMEX credit posted just fine.

My pending charge on my AMEX says “Jet.com”, so what I am concerned about is why I didn’t get the usual “Congrats!” email from AMEX. I seem to remember getting it instantly when I placed an order the last time.
