[Targeted] Select Banks: $100/$75/$50 Back for Spending $30 at AT&T – Moneymaker [BofA, Regions, Suntrust & More]

The Offer

Check your bank login to see if you were targeted:

  • Get $100 or $75 or $50 back when making two separate transactions with AT&T on wireless products or services of at least $15 each by 8/3/2017

This offer comes out every couple months, and there’s a new round coming out now. I’ve only seen reports so far of offers at Regions Bank and Suntrust Bank, but I’d assume Bank of America and the others have also rolled these out for targeted people. Check your accounts and let us know. (Read the wording carefully since there’s another offer they send out for a line of service which isn’t nearly as good.)

A number of banks run this cash back offer since they all use the same back-end. Banks include: Bank of America, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank, Beneficial Bank, and Christian Community CU. I recommend reading What Credit Card Offer Portals Share The Same Back End? for more information on how to use these offers.

The Fine Print

  • Offer expires 6/19/17
  • Offer must be used by 8/3/17  (I think this means you have to save the offer on your BofA account by 6/19/17 and use it by 8/3/17)
  • Offer valid one time only (you can use it on any credit or debit card in your online account, but once you use it on one card it can’t be used on another card in the login)
  • Valid in-store or online at at&t.com or over the phone
  • Cash back is earned within 30 days after making the second transaction

Our Verdict

This deal is outstanding even if you no interest in anything at an AT&T store. Simply buy an accessory (charger, etc.) for $15 at an AT&T store or online at att.com, repeat a second time, and get back the bonus. Net profit will be $70/$45/$20, plus some free accessories.

Tips:

  • If you’re doing this in-store, make sure to make the purchases at a corporate store, not an Authorized Retailer.
  • If you’re doing this online, try buying a single item that costs $15 or more since AT&T sometimes splits up smaller items into separate charges.
  • It might be worth spacing out the two transactions on different days.
  • Someone mentions the idea of buying a $25 refill card from an AT&T store which would work for prepaid plans.(Not sure if it’s possible to buy a gift card for a post-paid plan too.)
  • Or buy an iTunes gift card.
  • A reader confirms that making $15 payments to your AT&T cellular bill or Uverse internet bill counts to trigger the credit.
  • Don’t forget to go through a portal if ordering online. Topcashback is currently the best at 10%.

I don’t see cashback on TCB, where do people see it?

Has anyone received 75$ for suntrust? As per the deal, it says within 30 days you will get the credit. I talked to 3 different people from Suntrust and a supervisor. The first one says 30 days, second says at statement generation, 3 rd says end of following month and supervisor says 8 weeks and if I don’t get it by 8 weeks then they will escalate.

I was finally paid by Suntrust yesterday (for purchases on May 10/11). They credited me $100 for the DirectTV deal, though.

Did anyone actually get their earned money from Regions? Mine said to be deposited in June but I never got it. I sent regions a message but haven’t heard back yet.

Nothing yet here. Mine says it’s supposed to be deposited July and there’s only 10 days left.

It’s kind of annoying because I just passed the 180 day mark a few days ago and want to finally close my account.

Seems AT&T has pulled all gift cards and refill cards out of their corporate stores, starting in the last few weeks.

Out of curiosity.

Does anyone:
1. Have the current offer with Regions bank (not a past offer),
2. Used it to make 2 purchases that met the qualifications,
3. And now have the offer show something besides “Ready to Use”?

If so:
Did you make your purchases in store or online at att.com?

Thank you!

My regions ATT offer just switched to earned today. Made purchases on 5/14 and 5/15. IT said REady to use previously before this.

I made two $15 online payments to my GoPhone account on 5/30 with the AT&T transactions appearing as:

VESTA *AT&T XXXX

*X represents numbers

My status is still showing as “Ready to Use”. Based on fiveoh comments above, I’m hoping the status will change soon.

Did you make your purchases in store or online?

My transactions posted 5/12 and 5/15, purchased online.

Appeared as AT&T KXXX XXXX XXXX.

Offer still showing as “Ready to Use.”

Thanks!

Got the $75 offer on BOA. Will 2 purchases of $14.99 each trigger it? With tax it will be over $15 but does the actual accessory have to be $15. Any dp’s? thanks.

I did it last time with BOA with 14.99(before tax) cables and got the reward.

I am very sure I was targeted for the BOA offer and enrolled it, but when I checked back to see if they have credited the $50, it disappeared, nor is it in the Earned tab pending.
Seriously? They just had me spend $30 on some useless crap

Jordan, that happened to me before with bankamerideals (offer disappears after usage but before expiration). The offer credited without me contacting customer service.

I purchased two cables ( $15 each) on May,16. AT&T offer status still says “Ready to use”. CSR said: It can take up to 60 days for earned offers to appear in your account. However, earned offers should be viewable in the “Rewards Earned” section of the CashBack Rewards Summary page. However, a claim cannot be filed until the 60 day time frame has passed. If you have not received the credit within 60 days, please let us know. I am going to return my purchases.

I did 2 cables on the 15th but nothing shows in the rewards earned tab and the offer still says ready to use. Topcashback also never tracked the sale.

Knowing the way Regions handled their recent $400 bonus, they’ll probably drag paying it out as long as possible

Went to a fourth AT&T corporate store. Store manager thought there’s iTunes GC in the back, but one of the reps reminded him that “they made us send [the iTunes GC] back.” Oh, well. Officially, no iTunes GC within reach for me.
