Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Daily spending account has no monthly fees to worry about
Early Account Termination Fee
Accounts need to be kept open for six months otherwise the bonus is forfeit
Our Verdict
That’s a lot of debit card requirements and $5 minimum is annoying, but considering there is no direct deposit required and the $100 savings bonus is easy to do as well I do think this is worth doing if it turns out to be a soft pull. If anybody goes for it then please share your experiences in the comments below.

Anyone got bonus of $350? I opened it on 5/31/2020. But a local bank clerk told me i only need to spend debit for The first two months Not three months. But even after i met the all the requirements i still didnt get the bonus. Aren’t we supposed to receive the bonus no later than 7/31/2020?
Just curious: anyone received the bonus yet?
Nothing yet for me.
It’s posted today! Oh yeah!
Same, just posted tonight. Wasn’t there in the morning.
When did you open the accounts? And did you open online?
Went to the branch Saturday morning and up to the drive-in. Was bummed to hear that my zip code (Spring/Woodlands) was outside the targeted area even though I am only 12 miles from the branch. Wasted about an hour of my day but it was a nice day for a little drive. I guess I should have called the 800 number before to see if I qualified – it just seemed so close.
Just opened an account with them. Live in a valid zip code. Opened via drive thru and showed them an email print out of the bonus. Had to go to the bank twice. Once to show them the print out/give them my info, then a second time to make an initial deposit and get my debit card. Couldn’t do it all in one go since I had to wait for an email and e-sign a few documents. I was told I was good to go and just need to do the transactions now.
Can you please share what are valid zip codes for this promotion ? I could not find online.
Not sure which ones are valid. I called the 1800 number and told them about the promo and they transferred me to the bank itself. I asked if 77493 and 77449 were valid. I was told 77493 was not valid but 77449 was valid.
So looks like you do indeed need to live/work in the right zipcodes, AND apply via drive thru or inside. If you apply online you can just come into branch to finish. Source: Banker emailed me after a completed application.
Applied and approved in branch. Haven’t received any notification that it was a HP. $25 needed to join and kept in savings account. Did Save to Win CD for savings requirement.
Did you happen to confirm with them if you would’ve been able to do this all online? The email terms indicate you can apply online, but step 3 it says to come in… still trying to decide if it’s worth applying since the earliest I’ll be back in Houston area is in a few months.
Not able to apply online?
Haven’t seen any DPs yet, probably will be DP I want to see. Will post back.
Seems highly local. If this was Slickdeals I would be asking why is this FP? Guess I still am
Seem’s worth it for those around the Houston Area, unfortunately I am around DFW

The codes are not unique, but the terms clearly say “Offer available in branch only.” Unfortunately it is not uncommon to see local credit unions use contradictory or misleading language on their promotional materials (perhaps due to fewer QC resources), but the Houston banker I spoke with verified that this promo is only supposed to be available for signups at their new Spring branch.
