Our Verdict
This offer is being reported by some r/churning members as appearing when they click the referral link incognito. I don’t see it on a few links I checked, YMMV.
We’ve seen 110,000 point offer that required $25,000 in spend on a non-referral offer; this one is for less spend and gives your friend the referrer credit – might be the best offer we’ve ever seen. Some are also able to get 100,000 after $10,000 in spend via the call in method.
Might be worth waiting a few days to see how the ‘exciting offers’ on Business Platinum pans out. As always you can read more about American Express cards here.

I have this card now (the 100k version called in). When I applied it this time didn’t pop out window alert. Will I still get bonus?

Some of y’all are crazy. Overpaying taxes for 10-15K + paying the fee + annual fee. The net gain is very small 595 + 200 or 250.. netting what? 30K MR points. If you can use all the perks and travel crap right now with the pandemic.
me too.. i’m really thinking hard why I should apply for Amex plat w/o much travelling? Altho they did introduce $30 paypal for 6 months in 2021, but for me it’s still hard to make the math work out with the hefty membership fees…
Dell $300, airline $400. 1st year AF is negative. 110k is free money. Travel perks were never the point of churning.
well, you’re clearly not in the game for churning. And that’s fine. Btw your valuation is way off.
You’re thinking too small. You can max out the 5x promo categories to get 80k MR. Plus my 110k MR SUB, that’s 205k MR when you factor in the 15k MR from the spend. Cash out with Schwab and it’s $2,562.50. Subtract the AF and you get $1,967.50. But I still put value on the things I can buy with $300 in Dell credits and $400 in airline credits, so it’s not like you’re simply “out” the $595 from your earnings.
Even if you did overpay taxes, $5k+ purchases get you 1.5x and the fee is only 1.99%. $5k tax payment plus the 1.99% fee ($99.50) would net you 7,600 MR, which you can cash out via Schwab for $95. Taking a net loss of $4.50 in order to hit a SUB is completely worth it.
Pulled a 110k MR offer from a referral. Offer terms also include the 5x in the promotional categories (office supply) during the 3-month SUB. This is as good as it gets IMO. Unless they come out with a 125k, but I feel that would be either $25k or tiered (aka 75k/$15k, 50k/$10k).
85K regular offer if you go to the organic search result “amex business platinum”, 100K for the ad link. Both 15K spend.
