Amazon is selling their Fire TV sticks at discounted prices, as follows (affiliate links below):
- $24.99 for Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device with Alexa built in, Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, includes the Alexa Voice Remote; this usually sells for $49.99
- $19.99 for Fire TV Stick streaming media player with Alexa built in, includes Alexa Voice Remote, HD, easy set-up, released 2019; this usually sells for $39.99
Both of these devices get an additional $5 discount (20% or 25%, respectively) if you have the offer to get up to 25% discount on Amazon devices with Amex card or Discover card. For some reason the discount works for me even without applying any Amex points, so long as Amex is the payment method. Note, not everyone has these Amazon devices offers, check the links (Amex | Discover) to see if you were targeted.
A lot of us have already used up our sitewide 20%/$20 discount on Amazon with Amex or Discover, so these deals on Amazon devices are useful. Be sure to ‘Click to Activate‘ on each deal individually in order for it to work.

Pardon my ignorance but what to do with this device?
Worked fine for me… but i had to use the amex card and at least 1 amex mr point (which by the way will get you the best rate since $0.01 uses 1 pt, whereas $10.00 shows you the true rate, 1429 points, or 1 pt = $0.007).
I’m able to see “AmEx Promo: -$5.00” for Fire TV Stick OR Fire TV Stick 4K, NOT both. Am I doing it wrong? Or does only one of these devices get an additional $5 discount?

clicked thru Rakuten site for an extra 5% off, and used my Discover It card for 5% as well.

The $25/$20 prices are public, and the additional $5 discount should work if you have the Amazon Devices offer and you’ve saved it. Tried to make this a bit clearer now.
