As it’s the beginning of a new month, I thought it worthwhile to review credit card benefits that renewed/began today or are ending this month:

Begins Now:

• Chase Adds Temporary Categories & Benefits To Sapphire Reserve, Preferred Cards (Gas, Streaming, Instacart) from July 1 through September 30
• Q3 2020 5% Quarterly Categories: Activate, Offers & Suggestions (Freedom, Discover, Dividend, Cash+ and more) from July 1 through September 30
  • Chase Freedom – Amazon.com, Whole Foods
  • Discover – Restaurants, Paypal
  • Citi Dividend – Home Improvement, Streaming Services
• The regular $100 Dell credit on AmEx business Platinum card to be used from  July 1 through December 31, plus an additional $100 Dell credit for the second half of 2020 ($200 total); here’s how to maximize that credit
• $50 Saks Fifth Avenue credit on the AmEx personal Platinum card to be used from July 1 through December 31; here’s how to maximize that
• Bank of America Cash Rewards category $2,500 quarterly limit renews now

Monthly Credits:

• Monthly $10/$20 wireless credit on Amex Green, personal Platinum, business Platinum
• Monthly $20 streaming credit on personal Platinum
• Monthly $20 shipping credit on business Platinum
• Monthly $15 Uber/UberEATS credit on Amex personal Platinum
• Amex Gold $10 dining credit

Ending this month:

• AmEx Hilton Surpass and Aspire cards earn 12X Points at U.S. supermarkets through 7/31/20
• Amex Delta personal cards earn 4X miles at U.S. supermarkets through 7/31/20
• Amex Marriott Bonvoy and Bonvoy Brilliant cards earn 6X Marriott Bonvoy points at U.S. supermarkets on up to $7,500 in eligible purchases from May through July 2020.
