The Fine Print

Bonus will be deposited into your new business checking account within 60 days of meeting all of the above requirements and be labeled “Descriptive Deposit Business Checking.” Your business checking account must remain in an open status to receive the bonus. Bonus will be reported on IRS form 1099-MISC. Offer valid as of March 21, 2023, cannot be combined with any other offer and is subject to change without notice.

Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Simply Small Business Checking has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
If you put the $25,000 into a 5% account you’d earn ~$410 over the same period, so this bonus is significantly more. The $500/$250 bonus have even better returns. Might be worth doing if you have a business and live near a branch.

Anyone received the bonus? The terms says within 60 days after the 120 day period from opening. So technically for me the 60 days hasn’t passed yet. Still wondering if anyone got the bonus. FWIW, i pulled money out after 130 days or so.
Update: Got my bonus after cfpb complaint.
Was able to open in branch and very easy process. Went for the 1000 bonus and gave a check for 25K (plan to keep it for 120 days). Also got the $100 extra right away for showing other bank statement.
Gotta maintain daily balance from day 1. How y’all doing that? Will depositing $25k check count for day 1 balance as I’m sure they’ll put hold on that big amount
Hold is 1 day.
20 minutes from me, I’m in, thanks!
Might be worth a 2 hr drive. Going to call before heading to see if any restriction to zip codes.
