Our Verdict

I believe this offer is widely available on most cards, as is usually the case. Oddly, I can’t find it on any of mine (maybe slow roll out?) {never mind, I was just being hit by the 100 limit.} Best Buy comes out, like clockwork, with two Amex Offers per year, one in mid-year and one around November for the holiday season.

Check out this comprehensive post Everything you ever wanted to know about Buying Gift Cards at Best Buy to learn more about which gift cards to buy at Best Buy in-store or online. Options include $200 Visa gift cards for $205.95 (don’t think these are available anymore), eBay gift cards, gas gift cards, restaurant gift cards, and more. The options are slimmer online, but they do now have eBay and dining gift cards (Starbucks, etc.) online. Some people may want to make use of this offer organically to buy holiday gifts.

Buying physical Best Buy gift cards or any other gift card which is processed directly on Bestbuy.com should work to trigger the offer credit. Buying an e-gift card which is processed through Cashstar probably won’t trigger the credit.

Remember, you can save on offer per SSN of the cash offer and one of the points offer.

Found a similar offer on my CHASE Starbucks card.

10% back at Best Buy, up to $30 max, expires 3/25/21.

I scoured your website and can’t find a thread for a Chase Best Buy offer to post this in.

I searched several Best Buy retail stores in New York City and New Jersey. No VISA Gift Card available.
There is a Best Buy Warehouse a little far away.
I want to see if they have VISA Gift Cards.
If they have VISA Gift Cards and I buy it at the Best Buy Warehouse, whether the purchase made in the Best Buy Warehouse qualify for this AMEX Best Buy offer?

Thank you very much!

I got this offer on my Plat for 3K MR, and on my Aspire for $30. I purchase $300 in gift cards and items on each card at the same time. I got the $30 back on Aspire within a couple days, but no MR on the Platinum card. This was about 2 weeks ago. Interestingly, on the AMEX app when I look at Offers on the Plat, it shows this offer as redeemed.

I thought I saw this on one of my cards, but can’t find it on anything right now. Might have been too slow.

Has there been issue with AMEX for redeeming one cash offer and MR offer under different cards with same SSN? With AMEX being petty, just want to play it safe. Lol

Are they still allowing AMEX CC holder to add same offers to multiple CCs? Not the AUs. I don’t have AUs, but have multiple AMEX CC that shows all these offers. But once I redeem offer on one card, I can’t redeem it on the other cards anymore. I know there was a way around buy going Incognito mode and open up multiple tabs, etc. Is it still valid?
