The big news of last week was that it’s rumored that American Express will try to compete with the Chase Sapphire Reserve sometime this quarter. I suspect we will know more about this in the next week. American Express also increased the sign up bonus on their Delta cards (70k + $100 statement credit on the Platinum cards, 50k + $100 on the personal Gold & 50k + $50 on the business Gold).
Chase has brought back their awesome $500 checking and savings bonus, this is available nationwide. There was also more good news with Seacoast National bank sending out checks for $200 for their bank account bonus that was terminated after people signed up for accounts.
