You’re probably sick of hearing it, but last week American Express increased the sign up bonus to 30k points on the SPG personal and business cards, that’s as high as this bonus gets so you might as well jump on it if you value SPG points. If you’ve recently applied, make sure you ask to be matched and get up to 10,000 courtesy points. AmEx also increased the sign up bonus on their no annual fee Hilton card to 60,000 points.
We also learned that new Amtrak cards would be launched in the fall, after finding that initial information somebody leaked some information and we’re reasonably confident that the card will be issued by Bank of America. NASA FCU also announced their plans to launch Star Trek credit cards this fall, unfortunately the cards kind of suck apart from the designs.
We added four new bank bonuses last week, but the only one that caught my eye was the $150 bonus from Citizens Bank which is available in MI & OH, CT, DE, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VT. There were a lot of good deals last week, some American Express cardholders were targeted for a $15 statement credit when spending $15+ on Amazon. Better is getting $25 for selling something on eBay. For those looking for free fuel then 4x gas points on some gift card purchases at Giant Stop&Shop is also a great deal.
