Really good week for credit cards last week, American Express introduced the highest bonus of 35,000 points on their personal & business SPG cards. You can get matched if you received a lower sign up bonus before by following these steps. I’d recommend reading this post to give you some ideas on what you can use those points for, also consider using somebodies referral link. You’ll receive the same sign up bonus and they get 5,000 bonus points.
That wasn’t the only increased sign up bonus though, Barclaycard is again offering 50,000 miles on their Lufthansa card (with two lounge passes) and US Bank is offering 30,000 Korean Skypass miles. It’s also possible to get 60,000 miles on the Citi AA personal & 50,000 miles for the business card. Chase also confirmed they will be offering a 1.5x Chase UR earning ‘Chase Freedom Unlimited’ card. We also added/updated four bank account bonuses that are well worth considering. For those in MA you can get up to $600 from Webster Bank, NJ residents can get $300 from OceanFirst and OH, MI, IN, PA, KY, WV residents can get $200 from Huntington Bank. Everybody else can get a 3.5% APY account on up to $10,000 from One American Bank.
There were also some really good deals we posted about last week (make sure you follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss any). You can get 1,000 United miles just for joining their dining program. Discover card holders can get $15 for free on Amazon if they haven’t linked those accounts before and also $10 in Kohl’s cash (even if you did the same promo the previous month).
Gotta say, it’s really nice to have a week of mostly positive news. Let’s hope the week to come brings us something similar.
