- During a recent TPG podcast there was this interesting nugget from Kate O’Brien (it’s interesting that she says new products rather than product refreshes):
- We have heard some rumblings of some excitement towards the end of the year with some new products coming out, and I think our readers will be very interested in them. But that’s all I’ll say.
- Newly surfaced recording details how pilots pressed Boeing after Lion Air crash, requested FAA records by Dallas News.
- Whiskey Expert Guesses Cheap vs Expensive Whiskey | Price Points | Epicurious. I love how approachable these episodes are, they actually make me interested in learning more about the different products.

Who is Kate O’Brien?
someone you would know if you read the article.
She appears to be the “head of business development” for the Points Guy. vince FYI-some people aren’t able to click on the link while at work.
How are they able to see this post on doc but not tpg
If it were my workplace I’d consider banning TPG. The site.
“there will be new products” ain’t much of a hint! haha
I find these “What’s more expensive” pointless. The real question I would want to be answered is “Which one tastes better?” or “Which is a superior product?”
Who cares how long it takes to make something or how complicated the process is (what she is really guessing here, as these result in more expensive products)? These add no value unless they also result in a better product.
Didn’t watch it huh? Must have missed the huge amount she says about what makes a whisky good or more expensive.
What kind of me products? Can you give us more of a hint of do s write-up?
How do you think DoC can “do a write-up” or give “more of a hint” on what secrets Kate O’Brien knows? DoC does not know what she knows. Ask Kate on TPG, but of course she’s not going to say anything more until she’s ready/allowed to.
New products! What could they be? 🙂
New! Oh, and um, products!
