Nice little bonus. Save this on the same card that has the $5 off $15 AmEx Offer if you got them both on the same card. Remember to link your Marriott account with UberEats to get 2,000 bonus points. Always use a promo code on UberEats orders, if eligible. Use Dosh for 5.5% back. Save this AmEx Offer on your Platinum card, if you have one, since it’ll stack with your $15 monthly Uber credit or on your Gold card for the $10 monthly benefit; might work in conjunction with the Hilton, Delta, and Marriott card statement credits as well. Some AmEx cardholders get a free Eats Pass as well.

As Allen said, it’s a wash because Gold is already 4x.
I only have the spend $15 and get $5 back on both my Amex Gold and BBP cards. I’m thinking I should use this on my BBP since the credit is usually applied to any transaction (including rides). Thoughts?
UberEats so add to gold
Adding it on the platinum card doesn’t really do anything special, since the plat credit is applied directly to the Uber account (you don’t have to pay with the plat)
When I ordered yesterday Uber Eats app prompted me to switch the card from CSR to Amex Plat if I wanted to use the eats pass benefits. I am 99.99% certain this has never happened before, but it did yesterday.
Same thing happened to be yesterday. In the past I have used different cards and Eats Pass benefits applied. Yesterday the Eats Pass benefit would only apply if Amex Plat was used. Looks like Uber Eats is going the way of DoorDash/CSR

I tried to use my paypal credit and it told me the same thing. That being said, I can use any AMEX card I have linked to get the Eatspass benefits.
See it on my personal Plat this morning, but not on my Gold
Same here. That basically makes it a wash for those with both cards. Generally, I use the Platinum credit but pay the balance with Gold for 4x points. Now if it were actually to pay with the Platinum instead, it would be 1+3 points, so right back to what the Gold was already offering.
Is that how Amex categories work? Doesn’t matter which card you swipe but matters which card you pay the statement with??
